Black Tai Salt Co. was founded in 2005 with a single conviction: the world deserved access to authentic Himalayan salt, unrefined, unprocessed, and sourced with integrity from the ancient Khewra Salt Mine in Punjab, Pakistan.

Every crystal originates from the Khewra Salt Mine in Punjab, Pakistan, one of the world’s oldest salt deposits, formed 250 million years ago when ancient seas evaporated and left behind a mineral record unlike any other.
We source only from food-grade deposits within the mine. Each batch is evaluated for purity and mineral integrity before it reaches your home. No additives. No processing. No shortcuts.
